CAMPING AT PRASHAR LAKE
** Prashar Lake lies north of Mandi which is about 100kms from Manali, Himachal. The lake is located at a height of 2730m above sea level. With deep blue waters, the lake is held sacred to the sage Prashar and he is regarded to have meditated there.**
** The trek is 5 - 6 hours one way, which is very peaceful and is best suited for beginners.**
ITINERARY OVER THE 2 DAYS WILL BE.
Depart by an over night bus to Mandi from Delhi.
Day 1 (DELHI - MANDI - BAGGI - PRASHAR LAKE)
On reaching Mandi we shall drive to a near by scenic village called Baggi, which is around 26km. After relax and having lunch we begin with the trek to the Prashar Lake. We go trekking up and down thought the gentle and scenic trails for around 5-6 hours till you reach the lakeside. On reaching the lake we relax and explore the lake complex and the area around. Later we setup camp had settle in. We shall have a bonfire this night. Over night in Alpine tents.
Day 2 (PRASHAR LAKE - BAGGI - MANDI - OVER NIGHT BUS)
After a late and relaxed breakfast, We shall explore more that Prashar Lake has to offer. The stunning landscapes and surrounding area shall be visited with our local guide. Later on we pack up and head back towards Baggi. On arrival at Baggi we shall have lunch. Later drive to Mandi. Depart by an over night bus back to Delhi.
